So last night a group of friends and I went to see 2012, and I have to say... it wasn't all that great. I can't say it was a horrible movie but I don't think I will be rushing out to get the DVD.

It had a simple enough plot, most of which we already know: People find out world is actually going to end, all hell brakes loose and world actually starts to end. (Shocker...)
There were some funny, exciting and suspenseful parts that were fun to watch. but they were spaced out over 2 1/2 hours.

On the plus side the special affects looked great. From meteors wizing by the screen to buildings falling in every direction, it looked amazing.

Overall I would say the movie was alright. If your thinking about seeing it, well go for it.

On a side note, to anyone reading this, what do you think about the end of the world theory?
Will nothing happen? Or are they right about all this?
